IPSec for Windows

Note: You MUST have administrative privileges to complete these procedures. If you are connecting to disk services from an off-campus location, use the university virtual private network (VPN).

  1. Ask your Technical Support Contact (TSC) if he or she needs to apply the IPSec group policy to your Austin Active Directory organizational unit.

  2. If your computer is on campus but not joined to Austin Active Directory, complete the following steps:

    1. Download the IPSec Configuration Installer .
    2. Run (or open) the installer file, IPSecCfg.exe.

    3. In the WinZip Self-Extractor dialog box, click the Unzip button.

    4. Follow the instructions in the installation wizard to configure your computer for IPSec.
