When a message is sent to a moderated list within the UT Lists service, the sender receives an email that states their message was forwarded to the moderators of the list for review.
UT Lists offers a custom sending/receiving scenario that allows owners to set their list to be moderated without sending a pending moderation message to the sender.
This custom scenario might be used when a list owner needs to handle incoming messages in different ways for different senders, and the normal moderation messages might be confusing.

To use this scenario, please follow the steps below:

Log on to UT Lists and select your list from the My Lists option.
- Select the Admin link from the list homepage left-hand menu.
- Hover over Edit List Config and select Sending/receiving setup from the drop-down list.
- From the options for Who can send messages (send) select utlists_moderated_quiet, moderated quietly
