The scope of the ITS Change Management Process is to manage all changes to IT service assets that may impact production Service Offerings
Examples of activities that are outside the scope of the ITS Change Management Process include:
- Changes made or recorded within the daily administrative process, including fulfilling service requests
- Changes to development, test, or pre-production environments, including environments for contingency, continuity, or disaster recovery
- Changes to tools used for development and testing
- Automated changes that are eligible to be Standard Changes
