Selecting the Type of report impacts how you are able to view and export that report. All reports are interactive, meaning you can click into them to view the data (usually tickets) they are representing.
Below are a list of common report types explaining how they display data, how they can be customized, and how they can be exported. Example screenshots of report filters and output are included.
List:
- Allows for one grouping of data (i.e. sort results by ticket assignee)
- Column headers can be customized
- Can be exported as Excel, CSV, or PDF
Pie:
- Allows for one grouping of data (i.e. sort results by ticket assignee)
- Ability to include grid displaying data as text below visual display
- Can be exported as a PNG, JPEG or PDF
Bar / Horizontal Bar:
- Allows for two groupings of data (i.e. sort results by ticket assignee and state)
- Ability to include grid displaying data as text below visual display
- Can be exported as a PNG, JPEG or PDF
Pivot Table:
- Allows for two groupings of data (i.e. sort results by ticket assignee and state)
- Can be exported as a PDF
