Sometimes you can end up with multiple UT EIDs, each of which may have different information associated with them. For example, if you graduated from the university, you have a UT EID associated with your student records. If you later apply for a job with the university and create another UT EID to apply, then your second UT EID will be associated with your job application information, but not with your student information. Having two UT EIDs, each associated with different information, can be confusing. Therefore, you may want to combine your UT EIDs so that you can access all your records using a single UT EID.
To combine your UT EIDs, use the Combine My UT EIDs online self-service tool. You must know the passwords for both UT EIDs to complete this procedure.
If you require assistance with this process, please contact the UT Service Desk.
