Accessing EID Data
The EID System contains centralized identity information provided by the Source Systems and users. This information can be accessed for business purposes in a number of ways.
- UTLogin is a centralized authentication service which supports web-based and stand-alone applications through standard authentication protocols.
- It provides single sign-on capability for participating applications.
- It provides support for common server platforms and third party applications.
uTexas Enterprise Directory (TED)
It can be used to retrieve identity and affiliation information, authenticate UT EID holders when logging into departmental systems, and allow departmental systems to control access to resources based on information stored within TED.

University Community EID Listing
The University Community EID Listing is available to Members of the university community. Users can search for an EID by a number of criteria, and can view EID-holders' names, EIDs, department/college, address, date of birth and phone number. Clicking on the EID may display further information, depending on the user's authorizations. For instance, developers can view UIN.

UT EID Administrative Services Application
The administrative interface for the EID System allows authorized users to view the details of individual EID records and carry out required tasks in the EID system.
