Office 365: iPhone/iPad Set Up

The following guide will walk you through configuring your iOS device to connect to an Office 365 mailbox.

Apple mobile devices running iOS older than iOS 11 are not supported.

 

Automatic Configuration

  1. Open Settings
  2. Select Accounts & Passwords
  3. Select Add Account
  4. Select Exchange Account
  5. Enter your primary Office365 Email address
  6. Select "Sign In"
  7. Your Email address should already be entered into the email field, enter your EID password into the password field.
  8. Select which services you'd like to sync, and select Save

 

 

Manual Configuration

  1. Open Settings
  2. Select Accounts & Passwords
  3. Select Add Account
  4. Select Exchange Account
  5. Enter your primary Office365 Email address
  6. Select Configure Manually
  7. Enter your EID password into the password field
  8. Select Next
  9. Enter outlook.office365.com into the server field
  10. Enter your Office365 email address into the username field
  11. Your EID password should already be in the password field - if it isn't, enter it now
  12. Select next
  13. Select which service you'd like to sync, and select Save

 

 

Removing Your Account

  1. From the home screen, select Settings.
  2. Select Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
  3. Select the mail account you wish to delete.
  4. Select Delete Account and confirm your decision if prompted.

If your mail account lacks the Delete Account option, please use the following instructions:

  1. From the home screen, select Settings.
  2. Select General.
  3. Select Profile.
  4. Select the profile associated with the mail account you wish to delete.
  5. Select Remove and confirm your decision if prompted.
