Office 365: Accessing Shared Calendars in Mac Mail (Mac OS X)

If someone has granted you permission to view their calendar, complete the following steps to view their calendar:

In Apple Mail click the Mail tab and select Preferences.

Click Accounts and then click the "+" button in the lower left corner of the window.

In the Add Account window, enter the following information:
- Full Name: Your full name
- Email Address: Email address to delegated mailbox
- Password: Your UT EID password

Then click Continue.
Note: You might be prompted that the attempt to access the Auto Discover server failed. If this is the case, an additional field for your username will appear. Enter the following:
User Name: "austin/yourUTEID/delegatedaccountUTEID" -
In the Incoming Mail Server window enter the following:
- Account Type: Exchange
- Description: delegatedaccountUTEID
- Incoming Mail Server: "office365.austin.utexas.edu"
- User Name: "austin/yourUTEID/delegatedaccountUTEID"
- Password: Your UT EID password

In the Outgoing mail server window enter the following:
- Description: "Office 365"
- Outgoing Mail Server: "office365.austin.utexas.edu"
- Use Authentication: unchecked

In the Outgoing Mail Security window, enter the following information:
- Use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL): unchecked

Click Next/Done when finished. The shared mailbox should be listed in the Accounts view on the left hand column.
