You can search for knowledge articles in ServiceNow using either the Global Search or Through the Service Catalog. Please see below for information on both methods.
Searching Knowledge: Global Search
Log in to http://ut.service-now.com/utss with EID credentials
Use search box in top right corner to search for keywords
Search tips:
- Use the * character as a wildcard before your search term to help find results that contain the term (i.e. *email)
- Use and, or and not between search terms to focus results
- Enclose specific phrases in quotes
Searching Knowledge: Through the Service Catalog
Log in to http://ut.service-now.com with EID credentials
- Select the appropriate catalog (IT, Facilities, Human Resources, or Business Services)
- Select the appropriate category for the service, then click on the service name or self help link next to it
- The service overview page will open with Self Help articles available below the service description
- Articles will be collapsed under categories; click the arrows to expand each category to display all related knowledge articles
- Click on the article title to view the knowledge article
- At the bottom of each knowledge article, you can indicate whether the article was useful and provide feedback on the article
